Focus on Inflight Connectivity and Entertainment

Anuvu will retain its Maritime Entertainment business, renowned for onboard entertainment on cruise lines, and its teleport infrastructure to support global inflight connectivity services. The company plans to operate a hybrid GEO and LEO network, beginning with the Anuvu Constellation, to meet the capacity demands of airlines.

Marks emphasized:

“This strategic decision aligns with our commitment to deliver innovation that moves our customers forward. By divesting these assets, Anuvu will streamline its operations and focus its efforts on bolstering innovation and service excellence to our clients. We remain focused on delivering exceptional entertainment experiences to our aviation and maritime clients while advancing our global inflight connectivity business. We will continue to keep passengers connected to the things they love through high-speed connectivity that enables entertainment, remote work and collaboration as well as content that surprises and delights them through continually meeting their growing interests.”

Commitment to Seamless Transition

Both Anuvu and FMC GlobalSat are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for customers and partners, maintaining exceptional service and value throughout the process. Marks reassured, “We assure our customers and partners that their service will continue to be of the highest quality, and we are dedicated to making this transition as seamless as possible.”
