Ericsson and Intel: A Powerful 5G Collaboration

In a groundbreaking move set to turbocharge the Thailand 5g digital infrastructure, Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) and Intel are uniting their technological prowess. This collaboration focuses on the development of 5G use cases capable of accelerating enterprise digitalization, further supporting Thailand’s vision for Industry 4.0.

“Intel and Ericsson will collaborate on their respective technology expertise to show how communications service providers (CSPs) can accelerate 5G adoption and expand their business-to-business (B2B) engagements based on 5G use-cases,” the press release detailed.

Driving Digital Transformation in Thailand with 5G

The two industry giants aim to leverage their strengths in several critical areas, including joint development of enterprise use cases in verticals like manufacturing, transport, and logistics. The emphasis is also on illustrating how 5G connectivity can contribute to constructing sustainable and resilient digital economies.

“Through this collaboration, we will help enable Thailand’s 5G infrastructure with innovative edge services – powered by Ericsson and Intel technologies – to help local enterprises transform and accelerate their businesses through digital solutions,” said Thomas Sennhauser, CTO for Communications Business, Asia Pacific Japan region, Intel Corporation.

Ericsson and Intel’s Contribution to Thailand’s 4.0 Vision

The collaboration is not only about powering up businesses. Ericsson and Intel share a vision for Thailand’s future – a future underpinned by technological advancement and digital transformation. In line with this, they intend to foster a diverse 5G ecosystem in Thailand and ignite innovation.

“We will leverage our global 5G experience and collaborations with Intel to the benefit of CSPs in Thailand, with resilient network performance, scalability, simplicity, and security as a primary focus,” states Igor Maurell, Head of Ericsson Thailand.

Empowering Sustainable and Resilient Digital Economies with 5G

Ericsson, a global 5G leader that powers 147 live 5G networks in 63 countries with 40 live 5G standalone networks, is ideally placed to pioneer this digital transformation. With Intel, known for their contributions to digital transformations, by their side, this collaboration is set to reinforce Thailand’s position as a 5G front-runner market in the region.

Both Ericsson and Intel remain committed to supporting Thailand’s Industry 4.0 vision through their advanced 5G technology, illustrating the transformative potential of 5G on a global stage.
